Nick Sullivan is a director based between Newcastle and Sydney, with a background spanning broadcast television, commercial campaigns and music, built across more than a decade working in Australia and internationally.

His films balance cinematic scale with an instinct for performance and place, capturing not just how things look but how they feel and sound. A foundation in editing shapes everything: the way a scene is covered and the rhythm of a cut.

He began his career in broadcast television, spending years on location across Iceland, South Africa, Amsterdam, Japan and at home in Australia. This gave him a grounding in high-pressure, character-driven production that informs everything he directs today.

In the commercial world he has worked with Tourism Australia, Destination NSW, Snowy Mountains Tourism, DoorDash, Mastercard, Sony, Samsung and Google. In music, he has directed work with Moby, Tones & I, Lewis Capaldi, Sam Fender, Vance Joy, Hermitude and Troye Sivan among others.

His work has screened at SXSW Sydney, Melbourne Comedy Festival and the Berlin Fashion Film Festival. He was named in B&T's Top 10 Australian Directors.
